Hands up if you have sensitive skin?
Does your skin get irritated when you wash it or take makeup off?
Do I have the product for you!
Today we are reviewing Aha although, to be honest with you, I've been testing this for about 3 weeks to be so sure that the product is good. First off, this cleansing liquid works as both a makeup remover and a facial wash all in one product. The product is a powerful makeup remover and facial wash which uses Citric, Glycolic and Stearlic acids. It's non-drying and non-greasy and doesn't contain any oil or parabens or skin irritating ingredients. It will leave your skin hydrated, soft, clean and rejuvenated whilst doing a whole other bunch of stuff behind the scenes.
This cleanser does pretty well at taking your makeup off and breaking it down. The only struggles it has is with some eyeliners, gel eyeliner, in particular, but it still comes off with a bit of extra time and effort! I will say though, it looks hilarious when you have your makeup smeared all over your face from wiping the cleanser around and that makes the final removal that more satisfying.
I thought it would be fun to do a full face of makeup and take half of it off with the AHA cleanser and you guys could see the difference. The cleanser does not irritate my skin or leave my skin red. As someone with uber sensitive skin, I cannot even begin to tell you how amazing that is. Every face wash or makeup remover I have used has left my skin red apart from this one. It's so gentle on my skin. It also has a slight but pleasant smell.
I do suffer from oily skin in areas as well, and usually, a clean face will get oily very quickly. Not only does this product not irritate my skin but it leaves my skin clean and not oily. This has to be hands down, the best makeup remover/face wash to date I have ever used for my skin.
My only flaw of this product is that when I'm rubbing my eyeliner and mascara, I sometimes get the product in my eye, it doesn't hurt, but I do have blurry vision for a wee while. Also, some of my eyeliner/mascara residues can collect in the corner of my eye which isn't a big deal but I can't find anything else wrong with this product. I have to nip pick!
Lastly, special thanks to Kira Kira Studios who sent me their AHA Cleansing liquid to review! If you are interested in trying out the AHA Liquid Cleanser you can go here and buy a bottle for only £19.99 which considering the size of the bottle, 190 ml, is a bargain!
Final Overall Review!
Packaging: Gorgeous. It's simple yet effective and cute.
2 - 1 Facial Wash: Amazing. It's gentle, has a pleasant subtle smell and leaves your skin clean, soft and not greasy!
Price: At £19.99 and considering how great it is, it's well worth it for a 190ml bottle.
